SUMMARY:Virginia Opera in the schools
DESCRIPTION:Enthusiastic response from teachers and students has resulted in our continued support of Virginia Opera in schools throughout the region. Funding from our members\, grants\, and the Virginia Commission for the Arts allows ArtsLIVE! to present performances from Virginia Opera for children in grades K-5. Last year\, Virginia Opera  entertained\, educated and inspired more than 7\,400 students in 16 schools in the greater Fredericksburg area.
