Actors from The Rude Mechanicals present Othello.

The theater arts are not just for entertainment; they are a powerful vehicle for delivering social messages. As promoter of the arts, ArtsLIVE! in partnership with other community entities can amplify awareness of community issues as well as provide entertainment to a host of audiences.

ArtsLIVE! partners with The Rude Mechanicals theatre group to present plays at no or very low cost to the community. These plays are presented by local directors and star local actors assisted by local musicians and stagecrafters. Past programs have dealt with timely subjects of bullying, stroke recovery, domestic abuse, family issues, as well as the classics written by Shakespeare.
