Our youngest patrons participate in our Opera in Schools program. Opera expresses the human condition and as a multifaceted art form can inspire creativity, emotional development, and critical thinking. We are collaborating with a local opera troupe to present “Pirates of Penzance” in area schools in the spring of 2026. As part of this exposure, ArtsLIVE! supplies big stickers that students wear home on the day of the opera that say, “Ask me about the opera!” We hope this sparks a conversation with their parents and caretakers at home and engenders interest in the arts.
